The Development and Institutionalization Support Center "DISC" held a training workshop with a view to train local journalists on some of the Investigative Journalism Skills such as:
- Investigative and Electronic Journalism.
- Press Dialogue Skills.
- Reportage Techniques.
- Press Good Writing.
This workshop is one of the activities which carried out by DISC in cooperation with Foundation for the Future – Jordon.
Hany Ibrahim, DISC Project Manager, said that DISC held two training workshops with the aim of training local journalists in Gharbiya and Sohag Governorates.
The workshop attended by 100 journalists. The project targets training local journalists in Lower and Upper Egypt.
He also said "local journalists need to be more qualified whereas local journalism needs more efforts".
